Job Description: 

At The Green Space, we are building the greatest team of compassionate clinicians in the nation. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate therapist to join our team. As a member of our team you will work with individuals, couples, families, or groups to address emotional, mental, and behavioral challenges. You will provide counseling, support, and guidance to help clients navigate through their difficulties and achieve personal growth and well-being. 

 

How we work: 

 

  • We offer our therapists a competitive pay structure, while assisting with finding new clients to keep their schedules full. 

  • Access to comprehensive marketing support from the Operations & Marketing staff. 

  • Consistent weekly pay schedule. 

  • Flexibility in your schedule, with a 15-session per week minimum. 

  • Therapists are 100% remote, with the option to conduct “Walk & Talk” sessions at their discretion. 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' needs, concerns, and goals.

  • Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances and preferences.

  • Provide individual, couples, family, or group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

  • Experience with Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), or other trauma techniques preferred. 

  • Ability to work with children, adolescents, teens, adults, and families. 

  • Offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.

  • Assist clients in developing coping strategies and skills to manage stress, anxiety, depression, or other mental health issues.

  • Monitor clients' progress throughout the therapy process and adjust treatment plans as needed.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, or psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

  • Stay informed about developments in the field of mental health and pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills.

  • Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality guidelines as outlined by relevant professional organizations (e.g., APA, NASW).

 

Experience & Qualifications: 

 

  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a therapist (e.g. Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in Texas or North Carolina. Associates and Provisional licensure are accepted. 

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited institution.

  • Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
